Lightning in a bottle
So it's my prerogative to finally put a blog together about the things I'm most passionate about including traveling, eating, and of course having a blast. It's taken me a while to get here but as some of you who know me, I can't wait to go on more adventures!
On my latest adventure me and my friend Elize (aka my ride or die) decided to go to Lightning in a Bottle festival in Northern California. We had been thinking about going for a few months but like most things I plan... or not I waited to the last minute (the day of) to get tickets. Using one of the most reliable resources aka Craigslist we were able to swoop a couple tickets (more than we bargained for) from a girl who was too sick to attend and desperate to get rid of them. We drove up Friday night, got there just before midnight crossing our fingers that the tickets were going to work since she said electronically changed our names. We got there just in time before the entrances were supposedly closing and almost cried when they put the wristbands on us. The drive was 4 hours from Los Angeles and all I could think about was what crazy sh*t laid ahead.
Highlights of the weekend:
Setting up camp in the dark
Free yoga
Favela bar/tent
Sexy ass Chet Faker
Free hugs
The Tea Temple
Meditation Lookout
BINGO
'Do Over' Stage
Our sanctuary/tent, "The Blue Rose"
In other words I 100% recommend going to Lightning in a Bottle 2017. It's the perfect combo of Coachella meets Burning me (if you're into those kinds of festivals). The only regret I have is not taking enough pictures.
