Granada o pomegranate
It's been over a year now that I've moved to Barcelona and so many things have happened. I got a job, traveled to new countries, started learning a new language, and new met friends! Apart from all of the exciting adventures, I did miss home and when my parents came to visit I was so happy. We decided to go to another part of Spain for a few days since they have seen Barcelona already and we chose Granada #noregrets.
Granada was one of the most magical cities I've been too. The houses were so simple and majestic with coble stone roads everywhere it made you feel like you traveled back in time. We ended up renting an Airbnb in the historic neighborhood of Alcaicin, which had breathtaking views of the Alhambra. Granada opened my eyes to more Spanish culture and influence (because Barcelona is Catalan). I spent some time with my parents in the Alhambra which is one of the most magnificent buildings I've ever been too. There was so much detail in the windows, ceilings, walls, floor throughout everything - unlike any building I have seen in my life. I ended up buying the 'Tales of the Alhambra' and starting finding out more myths and stories. So many things happened there, for instance it was where Columbus met Queen Isabel to request money to find India. Anyways, before I keep blathering on GO TO GRANADA!
