There and back again

There and back again

In 2012, I booked a one-way flight to Barcelona where I had the most powerful experiences and met some of the best people in life who inspired me and opened up my eyes to a life I never would have dreamed of. The whole experience took me on a journey to get where I am today. It’s crazy how one spontaneous decision can change your life. Since then, I fell in love with Spain, with Europe and have been exposed to so many things.

For a long time I was afraid to step out of my comfort zone, especially moving to a place where I don’t speak the language. I was of unsure of what was in store, like most people. I met people from all over the world. I even ended up living in Australia for a while, which I never expected. I was back and forth in Spain for a few years and when I finally decided to settle there for a bit I found a job that pushed me and helped me grow as a designer and made me realize that I can do anything, especially if I am dedicated to it. I guess what I’m trying to say is life starts outside your comfort zone and the world doesn’t end if things don’t always turn out the way you expect them to. If I hadn’t decided to go, I don’t know where I would be today. Even after all this time and now currently living in London, I don’t think I would’ve managed to do it without that first leap into the unknown.

So the question is: Barcelona at sunrise or sunset?
